Job summary

CareNow in Columbia Spring Valley is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist (RT) to deliver high-quality imaging and supportive patient care. You will perform radiographic views, assist with front desk duties, and ensure accurate documentation in line with policy and state regulations.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program, with ARRT registration, BLS, and willingness to obtain state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification required.
• State licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening certifications within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic views per provider orders and document patient records.
• Greet and assist patients at front desk; manage check-in/out and related duties.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging and lab equipment daily; report artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and company policies.
• Coordinate with Center Manager and staff to maintain smooth operations.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Performs allrequiredRadiological and Lab dutiesin accordance withlicense and performs front desk duties as assigned. Demonstrates excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction.

As a Radiology Tech, you will:

• Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receivehigh-qualitycare and services. Provides care to patientsin a timely manner.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under statelawand in compliance with company policy and procedures. Document the patient record according toestablishedclinicalpracticeand company policies and procedures. Perform drug screens,urinalysisand other in-house lab tests accurately.Processspecimens for reference labs.
• Help support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Daycloseout procedures, patient interactions, lobbychecksand records release.
• Maintain,calibrateand perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily. Inspects andreportsartifacts from the x-ray screen. Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs. Perform equipment audits as scheduled. Ensure the occupational client’s work form isfollowedand occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front DeskCoordinatorand all clinic staff tomaintainsmooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow all company policiespertaining toinfection control and hand hygiene.
• May berequiredto work alternate shifts and may berequiredto float to other clinic locations.

You Should Have:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Servicesrequired.
• 1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certificationrequired. State licensure may berequired.
• BLS certification within30 daysof startrequired.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Within30 daysof employment or promotion, must obtain andmaintainstatelicense (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.
