Job summary

CareNow Radiology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our urgent care team. You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and support front desk operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include ARRT certification, state licensure as required, and BLS/other required certifications within specified timelines. The role may require shifts and travel between clinic locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required; state licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinic staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider orders and policy.
• Document patient records and perform in-house lab tests and screenings.
• Support front desk duties and patient check-in/out.
• Maintain and calibrate lab/x-ray equipment and inspect artifacts.
• Maintain records/logs of in-house and sent-out lab work.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and staff to sustain smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies.
• May work alternate shifts or float to other clinic locations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiology Tech, you will:

• Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services. Provides care to patientsin a timely manner.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under statelawand in compliance with company policy and procedures. Document the patient record according toestablishedclinicalpracticeand company policies and procedures. Perform drug screens,urinalysisand other in-house lab tests accurately.Processspecimens for reference labs.
• Help support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobbychecksand records release.
• Maintain,calibrateand perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily. Inspects andreportsartifacts from the x-ray screen. Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs. Perform equipment audits as scheduled. Ensure the occupational client’s work form isfollowedand occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front DeskCoordinatorand all clinic staff tomaintainsmooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow all company policiespertaining toinfection control and hand hygiene.
• May berequiredto work alternate shifts and may berequiredto float to other clinic locations.
