Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology and related lab duties with a strong focus on patient care. You will work with clinic staff to ensure timely, high-quality services and maintain accurate records under state law and company policy.

Ideal applicants have ARRT certification, radiologic education, and BLS. This role may require shift variations and potential work at multiple CareNow locations, contributing to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with state licensure if required.
• BLS and federal screening certifications obtained within 30 days of start.
• Willingness to work alternate shifts and float between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform all x-ray views per provider orders and document records.
• Support front desk duties including check-in/out and end-of-day closeout.
• Maintain and calibrate lab/x-ray equipment daily.
• Inspect artifacts and operate equipment per policy and guidelines.
• Maintain records of in-house lab work and external lab submissions.
• Work with Center Manager and Medical Staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies.
• May rotate shifts and float to other locations.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Performs allrequiredRadiological and Lab dutiesin accordance withlicense and performs front desk duties as assigned. Demonstrates excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction.

As a Radiology Tech, you will:

• Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receivehigh qualitycare and services. Provides care to patientsin a timely manner.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under statelawand in compliance with company policy and procedures. Document the patient record according to establishedclinicalpracticeand company policies and procedures. Perform drug screens,urinalysisand other in-house lab tests accurately.Processspecimens for reference labs.
• Help support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Daycloseout procedures, patient interactions, lobbychecksand records release.
• Maintain,calibrateand perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily. Inspects andreportsartifacts from the x-ray screen. Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs. Perform equipment audits as scheduled. Ensure the occupational client’s work form isfollowedand occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front DeskCoordinatorand all clinic staff tomaintainsmooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow all company policiespertaining toinfection control and hand hygiene.
• May berequiredto work alternate shifts and may berequiredto float to other clinic locations.

You Should Have:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Servicesrequired.
• 1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certificationrequired. State licensure may berequired.
• BLS certification within30 daysof startrequired.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Within30 daysof employment or promotion, must obtain andmaintainstatelicense (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.
