Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to perform imaging exams, ensure patient safety, and support radiology procedures. The role requires adherence to ALARA and aseptic techniques, with a focus on patient-centered care and quality imaging across modalities.

The position reports to the modality manager and requires an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS certification with at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment across modalities as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging exams in varied settings.
• Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing.
• Ensure patient identification and safety per ALARA and aseptic techniques.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Adhere to Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
