Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager, producing high-quality images while applying ALARA to minimize exposure. Required certifications include ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS, and ARC-BLS.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate patient identification, safety, and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist must hold ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications (Basic Life Support) required.
• ARC-BLS (American Red Cross) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging protocols and ALARA principles.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams across settings and patient age groups.
• Ensures proper patient identification and image quality for physician review.
• Maintains patient safety and supports radiology team during procedures.
