Job summary

Wellstar Health System in the United States is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the imaging team. The role involves performing radiographic exams, adhering to ALARA, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Candidates must have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT(R) certification, with BLS as well. At least 1 year of radiology experience is preferred, and strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT(R) Radiography license and BLS required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in imaging while adhering to ALARA and department standards.
• Performs imaging exams and ensures proper patient identification and post-processing.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports Patient Family Centered care during procedures.
• Applies patient safety and aseptic technique throughout all steps of patient care.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols; performs other duties as assigned.
