Job summary

Minimum education includes formal Radiologic Technology training with NYS CRT licensure and ARRT certification required for hire. This is a full-time position in Rochester, NY with day shift expectations.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist with NYS licensure and ARRT certification with CE credits upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality X-ray images by conducting exams safely and efficiently.
• Verifies orders and adheres to department policies.
• Understands anatomy and proper positioning; uses immobilization devices when warranted.
• Receives training and supervision from senior technologists to perform required tasks.
• Performs general studies safely and efficiently, maintains paper and computer records, and bills for studies.
