Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Radiology Technician (ARRT) by LSRTBE to practice in Louisiana.
• Proven ability to communicate with patients and families and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and correct body part before imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients to ease anxiety and obtain consent.
• Maintain and clean imaging rooms and equipment and perform QC procedures.
• Enter data in PACS/RADIANT and document results.
