Job summary

RadNet in California is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, monitor patient well-being, and support physicians with timely imaging results.

ARRT certification, state license in radiologic technology, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience are required or preferred. The role emphasizes patient care, confidentiality, and safety in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer questions regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Exhibits professional behavior toward patients and coworkers to be responsive to needs of others.
• Maintains respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interacts diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establishes, nurtures, and maintains cooperative working relationships.
