Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality patient care. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality images, and guide patients through the exam with sensitivity and clear communication.

This role requires ARRT certification, state licensure in diagnostic radiologic technology, and BLS. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment per policy, protocols and safety.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while ensuring patient care.
• Apply compression, exposure modes, KvP, Mas, grid, AEC and other adjustments for optimal images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or issues.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions with empathy and clarity.
• Address physician questions regarding patient imaging needs.
• Safeguard patient data and property, including PHI and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect patient boundaries.
