Job summary

AdventHealth in Deland, Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with attention to image quality and safety. You will maintain patient comfort and privacy while adhering to infection control and radiation safety standards.

The role requires post-certification experience, strong knowledge of imaging procedures, and proficiency with EPIC and PACS. PRN schedule is available with Day shifts in the Florida facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in all Diagnostic Imaging aspects including Surgery and Trauma.
• 1 year post-certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• Ability to analyze data, techniques, and equipment operation to ensure accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, and team members.
• Move, position, and manipulate radiographic equipment safely.
• Perform direct patient care duties within technologist scope and monitor patient condition.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment safety checks.
