Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across patient ages and support physicians with diagnostic data. The role requires adherence to ALARA principles, proper image evaluation, and strong patient care, safety, and communication skills.

The candidate will work under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager and must have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications upon hire.

Qualifikationen

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R certification required upon hire.
• BLS (Instructor or Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Performs a wide variety of Diagnostic Imaging procedures to provide physicians with data for diagnosis.
• Adheres to ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
• Evaluates image quality and performs post-processing with correct patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports Patient Family Centered care.
• Maintains patient safety and handles emergencies appropriately.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Follows aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
