Qualifications

• Association/degree in radiologic science required or certification from an accredited program.
• Licensed and registered in New York (ARRT).
• Knowledge of radiographic examinations, equipment operation and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and explaining treatments.
• Minimize radiation exposure using protection techniques and proper shielding.
• Maintain radiograph quality by following standards and making necessary adjustments.
