Qualifications

• Minimum graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology.
• Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license in NYS.
• ARRT certification is required.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• CPR/BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient history and pertinent information for procedures.
• Prepare patient and provide instruction for radiology procedures.
• Select and operate radiologic equipment and ensure image quality.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed.
• Assist physicians in patient care as requested.
• Other duties as required.

General Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be instrumental in generating high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs, contributing significantly to the accuracy of diagnoses and the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;
• Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;
• Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;
• Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;
• Assisting physician in patient care as requested;
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology;
• Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license in NYS;
• ARRT Certification;
• 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred
