Job Title

Radiologic Technologist – Part‑Time (Clinic)

Employment Details

Hours: 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Accurately document image identification, including consents, orders, and screening forms in patient records.
• Determine the portion of the body to be imaged and properly position the patient for each image.
• Follow all prescribed protocols and hospital policies for imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and operational checks.
• Obtain and record patient history, vital signs, symptoms, or complaints prior to physician examination, and assist with exams or procedures at the physician’s request.
• Perform miscellaneous office duties such as answering the phone, scheduling patients, and cleaning exam rooms between patients.
• Conduct phlebotomy work as ordered by providers.
• Process images to the PACS system.
• Select appropriate techniques and accessories for proper exposures.
• Apply ALARA principles to reduce radiation exposure to staff and patients.
• Utilize the Hospital Information System to obtain patient information, verify orders, complete charges, and process studies.
• Perform general radiology exams while ensuring excellent image quality and safety.

Qualifications

• IEMA certification (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) required.

Compensation

Starting at $25.08 per hour, with a potential range of $25.08 to $38.87 per hour based on experience.
