Job description

Employment Status: Full time. Shift: Day. Location: 2331 Franklin Rd, Roanoke, VA. Requisition Number: R159195. Position: Radiologic Technologist – Outpatient (Riverside3/ION).

Compensation and Benefits

New hire sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance up to $7,000. Hours: Monday‑Friday 9:00a.m. – 5:30p.m.; Saturday morning clinic rotation.

Responsibilities

The Outpatient Radiologic Technologist performs accurate diagnostic procedures on patients, assessing them before, during, and after procedures that have been ordered according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines. Operates highly specialized equipment, including Digital Radiography (DR) and Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS), positions patients to obtain quality images, and utilizes the Radiology Information System (RIS) and electronic medical records. Trains students and other staff as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• No prior experience required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required.
• Virginia state license required.
• AHA BLS‑HCP required.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
