Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, is hiring an Outpatient Radiologic Technologist (Riverside 3/ION) for days. This full-time role, with a day shift from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., is based at 2331 Franklin Rd, Roanoke CP01 Carilion Medical Center.

You will perform diagnostic imaging using DR/PACS, and utilize RIS/EMR within Imaging Services guidelines. Education: Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology; licensure: ARRT registry, Virginia license, BLS-HCP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required with Virginia state license.
• BLS-HCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures per department guidelines.
• Operate DR and PACS equipment to obtain quality images.
• Position patients correctly and use RIS/EMR for documentation.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
