Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist in the Radiology department at Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie, TX, will perform radiology procedures per physician requests to diagnose disease and injury. Supervised by a Radiologist, you will follow established protocols and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, maintaining records, adhering to radiation safety standards, and delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Performs high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol.
• Demonstrates understanding of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and area for exam; position patient and adjust devices.
• Operate imaging equipment and set exposure factors.
• Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and charting for procedures.
