Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Health in McKinney performs radiology procedures requested by physicians or licensed providers to diagnose disease and injury. The role requires adherence to established protocols, safety policies, and high-quality imaging standards.

Supervised by a Radiologist, you will use AIDET to communicate with patients, prepare the patient and equipment, and ensure proper documentation and imaging record-keeping.

Qualifications

• ARRT, TMB RT, BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year X-ray experience or clinical rotations at BSW MCK.
• Preferred experience in OR, Fluoro, GI and OP X-ray exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol.
• Monitor radiation dose reference levels and act if limits are exceeded.
• Use AIDET to communicate with patients and families about the test.
• Prepare patient and area, position patient, and set exposure factors.
• Maintain equipment and work area per safety and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain medical imaging records in accordance with department policies.
