Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologist Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures and educate patients within a multidisciplinary orthopedic practice in Union, NJ. You will collaborate with medical doctors, physical therapists, and other specialists to support efficient patient care and maintain imaging quality.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, NJ licensure, and a patient-focused approach with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
  • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and radiation protection practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
  • Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, licensure, and certification requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance imaging knowledge and technical skills.
  • Support scheduling, recordkeeping, and administrative best practices to promote operational excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service and contribute to a positive outpatient orthopedic care experience.
  • Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself.
