Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our medical department. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, educate patients, and ensure radiation safety and comfort throughout imaging.

The role collaborates with orthopedic specialists and therapists to deliver quality outpatient care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and NJ license; CPR/BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
• Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
