Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging alongside medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and therapists.

You will perform X-ray procedures, ensure radiation safety, document patient information, and support scheduling and operations. This is a full-time, on-site role with a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
• Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, licensure, and certification requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance imaging knowledge and technical skills.
• Support scheduling, recordkeeping, and administrative best practices to promote operational excellence.
• Deliver exceptional patient service and contribute to a positive outpatient orthopedic care experience.
• Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself.
