Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Hold a current ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist license (NJDEP).
• Maintain BLS Heart Saver/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and operate radiologic equipment to obtain optimal images.
• Apply radiation safety principles and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review images for quality and communicate with radiologists and providers.
• Document imaging procedures and exam details in EMR/imaging systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and monitor supplies for uninterrupted care.
• Pursue continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
