Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures and support our vascular, orthopedic, and rehabilitation teams in Bloomfield, NJ. You will ensure patient safety, proper technique, and accurate documentation while maintaining strict radiation protection standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, physical therapists, and other care providers to deliver efficient patient care and a positive outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Excellent knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety.
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
• Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, licensure, and certification requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance imaging knowledge and technical skills.
