Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Radiologist Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, educate patients, and maintain imaging quality. The role supports a multidisciplinary team and emphasizes safety, compliance, and patient care.

You will work in a collaborative environment with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians, contributing to efficient workflow and high-quality imaging services while promoting outstanding patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and radiation protection practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
• Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, licensure, and certification requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance imaging knowledge and technical skills.
• Support scheduling, recordkeeping, and administrative best practices to promote operational excellence.
• Deliver exceptional patient service and contribute to a positive outpatient orthopedic care experience.
• Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself.
