Job summary

Baylor College of Medicine in Houston is seeking an energetic radiological technologist to provide patient care and operate diagnostic radiographic equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes, across the McNair Campus, Sugar Land and Vintage locations.

You will prepare patients, perform image production and quality control, educate students and staff on clinical MRI skills, and support timely workflow while maintaining safety and compliance with Environment of Care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Certification and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Texas Medical Board licensure as Medical Radiologic Technologist or Limited MT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and provide education.
• Operate radiographic equipment and document images; perform QC.
• Prepare patient films for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain productivity with timely completion of work.
• Follow safety measures in radiography and Environment of Care.
• Participate in research projects.
• Instruct students and staff on clinical MRI skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
