Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - MRI

Location: Chester County Hospital - 701 E Marshall St, West Chester, PA 19380

Hours: 1.0 FTE (40 Hours per week), Evening Shift | Sunday 7 AM-7 PM, Monday 10:30 AM - 11 PM, Tuesday & Wednesday 3 PM - 11 PM

Includes $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Summary

• Under the direction of the radiologist, the MR technologist performs a variety of MR procedures on pediatric and adult patients. They must have a sound understanding of anatomical positioning, magnetic field safety, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, explain the procedure, gain consent for contrast material, and address patient concerns prior to beginning the procedure.
• Perform checks for accuracy of the prescription, precertification/authorization if required, and verify patient identity and order accuracy.
• Perform all MR procedures following established imaging protocols.
• Compile and review images, provide comparison studies, and prepare documentation for interpretation.
• Perform quality control testing as required.
• Clean, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on equipment; stock and replenish supplies as needed.

Credentials

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (Required)
• Advanced certification in MRI (MR) within 1 year of hire (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program resulting in a certificate or associate degree (Required)
• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Preferred)
