MRI Technologist - Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Full Time Days - 10k Sign-On Bonus

Join Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, as an MRI Technologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, conducting innovative research, and educating future medical leaders. Working here means collaborating with top professionals across disciplines.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time, 36 hours/week
  • Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Friday shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
  • On-call and holiday coverage required
Responsibilities:
  1. Perform MRI and MRA procedures, ensuring patient safety and assisting radiologists.
  2. Check diagnosis, prescriptions, and patient identification accurately.
  3. Greet patients, explain procedures, obtain history, and address concerns.
  4. Administer contrast agents, operate MRI equipment, and produce high-quality images.
  5. Archive images, perform quality assurance, and monitor patient wellbeing.
  6. Maintain safety standards and inventory supplies.
  7. Respond to emergencies and communicate equipment issues.
Credentials:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent experience
