MRI Technologist - Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Full Time Days - $10K Sign-On Bonus

Join Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, as an MRI Technologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Be part of a leading academic medical center dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, conducting innovative research, and educating future medical leaders.

This full-time position involves on-call and holiday coverage, with a schedule of 40 hours per week: Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7:00-7:30 pm), Friday evening (11:00 am - 7:30 pm), and Saturday (7:00 am - 3:30 pm).

Responsibilities include:

• Performing MRI and MRA procedures, ensuring patient safety, and assisting radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Checking diagnosis, prescriptions, and patient identification; obtaining patient history; explaining procedures; gaining consent for contrast; verifying GFR; and addressing patient concerns.
• Placing angiocatheters, injecting IV contrast agents, operating MRI equipment, and archiving images.
• Conducting quality assurance testing, monitoring patient wellbeing, and responding to emergencies.
• Maintaining inventory, communicating equipment issues, and complying with safety regulations.

Credentials required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (Required)

Educational or Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent experience.
