Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - MRI

Entity: CCH

Location: Penn Radiology Kennett Square - 402 McFarlan Rd, #204, Kennett Square, PA 19348

Hours: 1.0 FTE (40 Hours/week), Day Shift

This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Summary:

• Under the direction of the radiologist, performs a variety of MR procedures on pediatric and adult patients, requiring an understanding of anatomical positioning, magnetic field safety, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, gain consent for contrast, and address patient concerns before beginning the procedure.
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions, handle precertification/authorization if required, and verify patient identification and orders.
• Perform MR procedures following established imaging protocols.
• Compile and review images, provide comparison studies, and prepare documentation for interpretation.
• Perform quality control testing as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and replenish supplies as necessary.

Credentials:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (Required)
• Advanced MRI certification within 1 year of hire (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program resulting in a two-year certificate or associate degree (Required)
• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Preferred)
