Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an APRN for the Radiology modality to perform imaging exams, ensure patient safety, and support radiology procedures. The role emphasizes ALARA principles, accurate patient identification, and high-quality patient care while collaborating with radiologists and modality managers.

The position requires accredited radiologic technology education, ARRT certification, and BLS. On-site duties and adherence to Wellstar policies are expected, with competitive hourly compensation and

Qualifications

• Qualified with ARRT Radiography certification (ARRT-R)
• BLS-Instructor or equivalent Basic Life Support certification
• Experience preferred but not required; one year in Radiology recommended

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in modality imaging and ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Performs imaging exams and ensures technical quality and proper patient ID.
• Provides patient care and supports Patient Family Centered care philosophy.
• Maintains patient safety and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
