Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography certification.
• BLS-Instructor or BLS certification required upon hire.
• MRI requires ARRT (R) or ARMRIT.
• Nuclear Medicine requires CNMT or ARRT (N) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of modality imaging and ALARA principles.
• Performs imaging exams and evaluates technical quality.
• Provides patient care and supports patient and family centered care.
• Ensures patient safety and responds to emergencies.
• Maintains aseptic technique and hand hygiene.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies.
