Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible within 90 days of employment.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality.
• Performs quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
