Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Wilson Immediate Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic examinations and related procedures under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager. You’ll work with stationary and mobile equipment in department and bedside settings, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Radiologic Science, ARRT registration in good standing, registry eligibility with certification within 12 months, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Science (or equivalent) required.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required; Must be in good standing with ARRT.
• Registry eligible candidates must obtain certification within 12 months of employment.
• BLS certification required (or obtained within first week of hire).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations using stationary and mobile equipment in department and bedside settings
• Obtain patient history and assess for contraindications
• Review physician orders for accuracy
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices
• Adjust and control radiologic equipment to ensure proper ionizing radiation application
• Review images for clinical quality and release patients appropriately
