Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations using stationary and mobile equipment in department and bedside settings.
• Obtain patient history and assess for contraindications.
• Review physician orders for accuracy.
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices.
• Adjust and control radiologic equipment to ensure proper ionizing radiation application.
• Review images for clinical quality and release patients appropriately.
