Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Clinic Setting

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiologic examinations and related procedures.
- Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations using stationary and mobile equipment in department and bedside settings
- Obtain patient history and assess for contraindications
- Review physician orders for accuracy
- Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices
- Adjust and control radiologic equipment to ensure proper ionizing radiation application
- Review images for clinical quality and release patients appropriately

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Science (or equivalent) required
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required; Must be in good standing with ARRT
- Registry eligible candidates must obtain certification within 12 months of employment
- BLS certification required (or obtained within first week of hire)
