Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with a focus on safety, quality, and patient care. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate imaging results and patient education.

The role includes a rotating schedule with shifts totaling ~36 hours per week. The West Valley Clinic supports Sports Med and Pediatric imaging, with a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must maintain ARRT certification and state licensure where required.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• May need MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in clinic settings.

Responsabilités

• Maintain competency in all clinical/technical functions.
• Verify patient identity and prepare patients for imaging exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and assess image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure a safe workplace.
• Complete studies within acceptable timeframes without compromising care or quality.
• Assist and instruct students and colleagues on exam protocols and equipment.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort and address concerns.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques; document patient care.
