Job summary

American Family Care Lenoir is seeking a professional to perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures essential for diagnosing injuries and diseases. This role involves assisting physicians with clinical needs like patient registration and medical duties.

The ideal candidate should have an Associate’s degree and relevant experience. Responsibilities include conducting imaging procedures, educating patients about the process, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control of images.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Process images for proper identification and quality control.
• Aid provider with prescribed patient treatments.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
