Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support clinicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. You will help patients through the imaging process and support the team to keep the clinic running smoothly, with availability for weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

You will prepare patients and equipment, protect against unnecessary radiation, and ensure images are ready for Radiologists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare experience.
• Current CRT certificate.
• ARRT registration or equivalent radiologic technology credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow; including triaging patient and running POC testing.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings.
• Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests.
• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows.
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
