Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide clinical imaging services in a fast-paced department. You will ensure patient safety, operate equipment, and assist radiologists while maintaining accurate patient data and exams.

Responsibilities include applying radiation protection standards, supporting students and staff, and coordinating with PACS for image transfer. A NJ license and ARRT certification are required, with BLS mandatory and willingness to work on-call and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• New Jersey Radiology Technologist License.
• ARRT certification; Associate’s degree preferred.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical radiology services according to practice standards.
• Demonstrate radiation protection and ALARA principles for patients and staff.
• Assist physicians and radiology team in performing studies and ensuring image quality.
• Enter data accurately to aid radiologist interpretation.
