Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to obtain diagnostic X-rays across age groups in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role supports fast-paced imaging in a renowned academic medical center.

Qualifications include ARRT registration, an accredited radiologic technology program, and an Ohio Radiographer License, with BLS either current or obtained during the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic X-rays using radiation-generating equipment.
• Support imaging in a Level 1 Trauma Center and stroke center.
• Work in a fast-paced, academic medical environment.

Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.

Equipment:

• Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units
• Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment
• Portable Konica digital unit
• Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements:

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
