Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Skokie Hospital to join our imaging team. The role is offered as PRN/Registry with no fixed schedule, including PMs, evenings, weekends, and varying hours to meet patient demand.

The position requires an radiology credential (certificate/associate), CPR, ARRT within 2 years, and IEMA licensing. Prior radiology experience is preferred and a strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate of completion or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program.
• Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT required within 2 year of employment.
• License: IEMA licensing required.
• Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Perform radiographic exams.
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality.
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner.
• Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures.
• Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department.
• Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports.
• May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours.
• Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel.

Hourly Pay Range

$30.00 - $46.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem: PRN/Registry
• Hours: As needed/PMs - Midnights and Weekends
• Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs. / per 6-week schedule
• Required Travel: No

What You Will Do
