Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist Lead to support the ortho suite, perform radiographic exams, and ensure patient comfort and professional care. The role is full-time with a 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday, 7am–3:30pm, and requires local travel as needed.

Ideal candidates have IEMA licensing, an Associate's degree or certificate in radiology, ARRT registration, CPR certification, and 2–3 years of tech experience with leadership experience preferred.

  • Education: Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program.
  • Certification: CPR certification required; ARRT registered.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of radiologic tech experience; leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic exams, obtain history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure comfort.
  • Oversee the ortho suite and assist with ACC-B ortho workflow and efficiency.
  • Prioritize patient experience and maintain professional departmental standards.
  • Handle patient recovery and manage exam delays.
  • Track productivity trends and communicate with the practice manager and staff.
  • Onboard new employees and ensure licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and flu shots are up to date.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Full Time/Part Time:Full time, 40 hours
  • Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm
  • Required Travel:Yes, local
What you will do:
  • Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
  • Oversees the ortho suite and assists with ACC-B ortho workflow and efficiency.
  • Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.
  • Handle patient recovery.
  • Stay on top of exam delays.
  • Keeps track of trends in productivity.
  • Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.
  • Will perform tech evaluations.
  • Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.
  • Onboard new employees.
What you will need:
