Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for the Skokie Ambulatory Care Center. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and alternating Saturdays.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered and on-site duties include patient preparation, radiographic exams, and image submission to RIS. Requirements include an accredited radiology certificate or associate degree, IEMA licensing, CPR certification, and ARRT registry eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program.
• License: IEMA licensing required.
• Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required.
• Experience: Previous radiology experience required.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.
• Perform radiographic exams.
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality.
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner.
• Independently operate equipment to perform procedures.

Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 - $46.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours
• Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm M-F and every other Saturday
• On Call: No
• Required Travel: N/A

What you will do:

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Perform radiographic exams
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
• Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures
• Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department
• Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports
• May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours
• Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel

What you will need:
