The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic XRAYs in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center. External applicants may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

As an academic medical center, MetroHealth offers comprehensive imaging services, modern equipment, and opportunities to support patient care across departments. BLS and ARRT are required, with a valid Ohio radiographer license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtained within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment for patients from infants to adults.
• Support the Level 1 Trauma Center with radiologic services.
• Maintain equipment and ensure radiologic safety protocols are followed.

Job description

• Site: Tech will internally float at main campus based on department needs
• Biweekly Hours: 80
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 5x8hr shifts
• Start/End Time: Variable, 7a-3:30p/7:30a-4p/8a-4:30p
• Call: Yes

• Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
• Site: Tech will internally float at main campus based on department needs
• Biweekly Hours: 80
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 5x8hr shifts
• Start/End Time: Variable, 7a-3:30p/7:30a-4p/8a-4:30p
• Weekends: Every 4th weekend 3p-11:30p
• Call: Yes

Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.

Equipment

• Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units
• Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment
• Portable Konica digital unit
• Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
