Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Riverside is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment and produce diagnostic images for physicians. Under general supervision, you will use technical judgment to ensure high-quality images and proper patient positioning while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating x-ray consoles and portable units, ensuring correct patient identification, documenting procedures, and maintaining equipment per department policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray control consoles, portable units, tube assemblies, lock systems, collimators, filters and tables to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Ensures correct patient identification and left/right marker on all films; centers area of interest and applies appropriate exposure techniques.
• Documents procedures accurately, maintains equipment and follows safety regulations; communicates with patients and staff.
