Job summary

The Radiology Technologist II at CHS Career Site provides advanced diagnostic imaging and supports patient safety from prep through post-procedure steps. The role requires operating imaging systems, ensuring image quality, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver timely care.

Night shifts from 8:00pm to 6:00am with 40 hours per week; some weekend coverage on day shift every fifth weekend. Cross-training in CT is expected to enhance department coverage and patient flow.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT certification required and state licensure where applicable.
• Proficiency with radiology equipment and radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Educates patients and families about pre-, during-, post-procedure steps.
• Maintains patient records and documents charges accurately.
• Monitors vital signs during procedures and ensures patient safety.
• Complies with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
