The position supports training radiologic technologist students, adheres to departmental policies, and participates in ongoing quality improvement efforts to enhance patient experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Must have an associate's degree in radiography and be a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or registry eligible with certification obtained within three months of employment.
• BLS Certified.
• Basic computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Identifies each patient and reviews requisitions for consistency with exam and demographics.
• Demonstrates courteous communication with patients and co-workers.
• Performs examinations with proper patient and equipment positioning.
• Assesses patient condition and ensures safety and comfort; selects correct procedure and technique.
• Reviews examinations for technical accuracy and presents to radiologists; communicates essential data.
• Identifies anatomical orientation on images and ensures proper image labeling.
• Maintains policies and safety standards; assists in training new employees and students.
• Engages in problem-solving and CSI-based improvement to enhance patient experience and reduce waste.
• Participates in departmental focus board meetings.
