Community Health Systems is seeking Radiologic / CT Tech for a full-time night shift. The role covers X-ray and CT with 3rd shift hours Monday-Thursday, alternating 10 and 12 hour shifts. The position emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, proper documentation, and collaboration with the care team to ensure accurate imaging and timely patient care.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist required.
• ARRT certification and state license required.
• Proficiency in radiographic imaging and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images while adhering to positioning guidelines and departmental standards.
• Practices radiation safety principles in accordance with ALARA guidelines and participates in safety programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients for procedures, verifies orders, confirms identity, and explains procedures to ensure understanding.
• Scans and verifies all documents in PACS for radiologist interpretation and documentation.
