Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging across a fast-paced environment in Denver. You will ensure high-quality images, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in delivering accurate results.

The role requires ARRT certification, a state license, and BLS certification, with opportunities for evening, night, and weekend shifts as described in the posting. The position is full-time with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required or eligible.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• May be required to perform MA functions in some clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies orders, and identifies patient.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits while preserving care/quality.
• Educates patients and supports student and staff training.
• Practices infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follows protocols for coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment issues.
